ReplyDeleteMonsters should always be saying stuff like this to each other. Tolkien did orcs and trolls a serious disservice by having them fight each other every time they get stage time. I'd love it if they were like "oh I know, it's getting harder and harder to raise the young'uns these days."
ReplyDeleteI know everyone has their favourite lines from The Princess Bride, but one of mine is where the 6-fingered bad guy is all concerned about the villain-prince: "Get some sleep. If you haven't got your health you haven't got anything."
...also, great drawings - love the ogre and beholder, especially.
ReplyDeleteOgres never have good muscle tone in their abs. I wonder who decided that and when.
